Gap Checker
Sort your bag longest to shortest, see every gap and overlap, and find the yardages nothing in your bag covers. Use single carries, or switch to carry windows for the honest picture.
Enter your typical carry (not total) for each club. Leave blank any you don't know yet.
Wedge table (optional)
Partial-swing carries for each wedge. Stock = controlled stock swing, not max. We never copy your full-swing carry into Stock — only enter numbers you've actually measured.
Gap thresholds (starting heuristic)
These are a starting point, not a rule. Edit them to match how you like your bag spaced. Always set in yards.

How the Gap Checker works
- Pick your clubs. Up to 13 full-swing clubs (the putter is the 14th). Use presets or pick a wedge by loft.
- Enter carry, not total. In Single carry mode enter one number per club. In Carry window mode enter the shortest and longest carry you'd trust on the course.
- Read the ladder. Each club is a segment on a rail. Red dashed bands are holes or big gaps; violet bands are overlaps.
- Check the wedge table (optional). Add ¼, ½, ¾ and Stock carries. Stock means a controlled stock swing, not your max.
In single mode, the gap is the longer club's carry minus the next club's carry. In window mode the flag uses centre-to-centre spacing, and the uncovered column is the longer club's minimum minus the next club's maximum: positive means a hole, negative means the windows overlap.

FAQ
Is the Gap Checker free?
Yes. It runs in your browser, there is no account, and your results are never hidden behind an email form.
Do you store my distances?
No. The checker runs in your browser and nothing is sent to a server. Your numbers live only in the page and, if you choose, in the share link you copy. If you use "Email me my chart", that share link is sent to our email provider, Kit, with your email address.
What is the difference between single carry and carry window?
Single carry uses one number per club. Carry window uses the shortest and longest carry you trust for each club, which shows real holes and overlaps that a single number hides.
Why are 10–15 yards marked ideal?
It is a common starting heuristic for full-swing spacing, not a rule. Edit the thresholds to suit your game, and allow wider gaps at the top of the bag if you prefer.
